I'm a patent examiner and in the course of my job I come across some really wacky stuff. I also find some really neat ideas. Once in a while I run across something in real life and it seems vaguely familiar and I realize that I granted a patent on it. This is a place to share all of the above.

I'm not going to type the name out. See for yourself.
I have to assume it's what we like to call a "term of art". A long-forgotten, definitely politically incorrect term.
